I will be starting work prints of these tonight. I am leaning toward the second one of the girl, but I love the chalkboard & setup of the first image. And I like the richness of the wood in the last image. Thoughts?

First and Last images are your most successful.
ReplyDeleteDo have issues with the amount of clutter around her body in first one - wish she and or objects had been arranged differently.
She "almost" looks like she is holding up the shelf which is cool - but then the electronics around her body are distracting. Depth of field adjustments would have helped this...She is almost part of background clutter, but nor quite - everything in the image is treated as if it is of equal importance. Was that your intention?
Second image does not work for me at all.
Background is very distracting, orchid overhead doesn't quite make it - MANY things problematic for this one.
Again - what was your intention for the objects and the person?
first pick of Sam does not work for me - framing, cropping and positioning do not hold my interest at all.
Second is better, but you have so many vertical, horizontals and shapes and rectangles occurring, it is almost too much - but yet - not quite enough.
Need to hear what your goal and intention is to help me understand the way you made decisions for these.
Look forward to seeing work prints - and having discussion.
