Works

It was nice to see some work from other people today. I only had one print with me from my portfolio project, but it was mediocre at best. I've still got some work to do on it, and many more. I expect to be returning to that cafe this weekend to do some re-shooting. Now that I'm familiar with the area I think I'll have a better idea of how to shoot this time.

Lindsey, your work today was amazing. Would you mind posting it here? I think we'd all be interested to know how you shot it and what you did to edit.

Specifically....
Your self portrait was perfectly clear. How did you manage? Mine always seem to be out of focus no matter what. And your images had such great depth to them. Nothing ever faded into anything else and became flat.

Basically, I was really impressed and so was everyone else. I think we'd all benefit from a brief tutorial if you don't mind doing so.

Here's an image from about a week ago. I shot another image of this building in the Fall for my PA1 class. At the time I didn't live in the area and just sort of accidentally found it. Now I live nearby and found it again. It used to be blue.
